When Raymond Floyd slipped the green jacket onto Tom Watson’s shoulders in 1977, I was only 6 years old. Watson had held off Jack Nicklaus to win the first of his two Master’s victories. It was the beginning of a tradition that exists to this day: watching the leaders coming down the stretch, holding their nerve at Amen Corner and navigating the famous dog leg 18th.

Golf has been a huge part of my life since then. I started playing as a junior, have maintained a single figure handicap and still play regularly on the links at Gullane where I’ve been a member for nearly 40 years.

I’ve had the privilege to attend two major tournaments as well as being a patron at The Masters. I consider myself extremely lucky that my passion for the game can spill over into work.

As a golfer who has played many courses around the world, including Pebble Beach and Bay Hill, plus the majority of the courses in Scotland, I often find unique vantage points to shoot from because of my golfers eye.

Becoming a licensed professional drone pilot in 2019 has meant that I now get a completely different perspective. The stunning scenery and variety of weather we have here in Scotland has helped me to create some breath-taking imagery which I’m extremely proud of.
